The Cochran-Bleckley United Givers Fund has set a goal of $20,000 for for the year. Our Campaign will run from September - October.
This has been a VERY successful campaign thanks to all of our generous donors.
United Givers has participated in the State Charitable Contributions Program for many years, but this was the first year that we participated in the Combined Federal Campaign. Both campaigns were very successful, bringing in donations from Federal employees and State employees. Local payroll deduction donations were received from Lithonia Lighting, Citizens Bank of Cochran, the City of Cochran, Bleckley County, and the Bleckley County Board of Education.
The Boeing grant money was distributed to Communities in Schools and Family Connection, the Bleckley Senior Center, and the Cochran-Bleckley Fire Department for special projects.
